Focus: Mostly around nutrition.

Easy to read? Yes, very accessible. It’s a quick read also.

Is it based on scientific research? Mostly yes.

Her Opinion: : There is a big hype around Alisa Vitti’s book, Women Code. Overall, I have rather enjoyed her book as it gives a good overview of what could be going-on with your body; ie: insulin resistance, adrenal fatigue etc; and how to address it, mostly from a nutrition perspective (Alisa Vitta has done the Institute for Integrative Nutrition). However there are two points that I would like to highlight. First of all, I didn’t like how the author sell her FLO Living membership through the book. I’m perfectly fine when writers mention what kind of services they offer, however the selling part was too much for me. Secondly, for those of you who already have a healthy eating habits, don’t expect to take out so much from this book. For example, I have hormonal acne, and her main advice was to eat greens / reduce sugar / no gluten / no dairy… which I already do 90% of the time anyway. Thus it left me a bit frustrated that there was no other solutions for me. 

For who? For those of you who don’t have yet a healthy balanced diet and would like to have nutrition guidance.
